Sculptures in Love with Architecture

Third exhibition of architecturally themed sculpture by Tom Lauerman & Fabio J. Fernandez. Small in size, but suggesting a larger scale, the hundred model-like objects in this show reference built structures and accidental arrangements from the urban landscape. The exhibition title references John Hejduk’s book “Architectures In Love”.

Pretty Tough: Contemporary Storytelling

Ten women with a point of view—nine artists and The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum’s new curator, Mónica Ramírez–Montagut—will open the exhibition Pretty Tough: Contemporary Storytelling at the Museum on June 21, 2009.
